Just passed Monterey. It actually turned into a clear night. Countless stars surrounding us, so beautiful and peaceful, although hard to captured by camera.
Condition has been good today, long period NW swell. Crab pots were everywhere outside of Half Moon Bay, even in 300ft water. Fortunately, there were less and less after Santa Cruz, when the day was getting dark.
Feel smart that we left a day earlier — would have been stuck tomorrow by the moving-in front.
